My brain bleeds trying to decipher LOLcatz.

Aren't you worried that it will effect your real writing?

If legalese doesn't affect Mary's writing, nothing will.

I think this actually enhances my writing in a sick sort of way. It makes me take a piece of iconic literature and pick it apart, which is never a wasted exercise.

And what Lori said. Legalese makes my eyes bleed. They actually WANT you to write in passive voice and why use a two dollar word when a forty dollar one in Latin will do.

New (lawyer) reader - this is THE BEST THING EVER.

Thank you for the laugh and joy this has given me (and will give to the family members I have forwarded the link to with a note).

May Ceiling Cat be with you, and deliver you always from the power of the dog.*

Book of Common Prayer if you are not of the tea-drinking persuasion (have not read enough of your blog to know this yet)

Thanks New Lawyer Reader. :) I'm not of the tea drinker persuasion, but a plain old Methodist heathen. :D More kittehs every friday. Glad I could make you smile.
